Australian authorities face major drug importation cases, including MDMA and methamphetamine.

A 39-year-old man is set to appear in court charged with importing 237kg of MDMA, valued at $13 million, into Australia. Separately, two Melbourne men were jailed for decades for importing 1.6 tonnes of methamphetamine and 37kg of heroin. An East Melbourne man, 20, was arrested for trying to obtain 12kg of methamphetamine, worth $11 million, disguised as hospital bedsheets. These cases highlight ongoing efforts by Australian authorities to combat large-scale drug importation.
