The Asian Development Bank approves $200 million for the Nagpur Metro project in India, enhancing urban mobility.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has agreed to provide Rs 1,527 crore ($200 million) for Phase II of the Nagpur Metro project, with the total funding reaching Rs 3,586 crore, including contributions from the European Investment Bank (EIB). The project will cover 43.8 km and benefit around one million residents, aiming to improve urban mobility and enhance connectivity in the region. The funding in Japanese yen will offer lower interest rates.
