Salem, Ohio, unveiled a new Lincoln Plaza featuring a 7-foot, 2-inch, 600-pound statue of Abraham Lincoln. The dedication ceremony included speeches by Governor Mike DeWine, Mayor Cyndi Baronzzi Dickey, and other officials, along with live music and a rifle salute. The plaza honors Salem's role in the underground railroad and women's suffrage movement. Funded by the state and Department of Natural Resources, it will serve as a community gathering place.
