Over 150 examiners in Uganda resign over low pay, impacting UCE exam grading.

In Uganda, over 150 examiners contracted by the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) have resigned or walked out over low pay, affecting the marking of the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) exams. The examiners, who were supposed to grade Physics and Agriculture papers, left after UNEB did not meet their demand for higher compensation. Despite the protests, UNEB claims the marking process is continuing smoothly.
