Australian conservationists accuse developers of illegally clearing endangered bushland near Singleton.

The Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF) has accused the developers of McDougall Business Park near Singleton of illegally bulldozing nine hectares of critically endangered bushland without proper environmental approvals. The developers, Hunter Land Developments Pty Ltd and McDougall's Hill Development Holdings Pty Ltd, have halted further development during investigation by the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. The ACF is calling for a national Environment Protection Authority to combat habitat destruction.
