Singaporean sentenced to 10 years for $5M Ponzi scheme that defrauded 13 investors.

Kenneth Kam Boon Hee, a 57-year-old Singaporean, was sentenced to 10 years in jail for running a Ponzi scheme that defrauded 13 people of over $5 million. He posed as a successful forex trader, promising a 3% monthly interest on loans but paid earlier investors with funds from new ones. He was convicted on 63 charges of cheating.
