New Delhi installs mist sprayers on poles to combat air pollution, launching on Lodhi Road.

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is introducing mist sprayers on electric poles to reduce air pollution, part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Ease of Living initiative. In the first phase, 15 mist sprayers will be installed along 500 meters of Lodhi Road, using treated water from sewage treatment plants. The project aims to expand to other key areas. Other pollution control measures include deploying mechanical road sweepers, anti-smog guns, and organizing tree plantation drives.
