The Chief Minister of Mizoram, Lalduhoma, launched the "Chief Minister's Rubber Mission" on December 16, aiming to turn Mizoram into a rubber production hub. Starting in 2025-26, the mission plans to cultivate 1,000 hectares annually, benefiting 1,000 farmers each year. The first phase, over four years, targets 4,000 hectares and received Rs 27.98 crore in funding, covering seven districts.
