Hitachi names Toshiaki Tokunaga as new president to steer the company's digital growth.

Hitachi has chosen Executive Vice President Toshiaki Tokunaga, 57, to take over as president in April. Tokunaga, who has experience in information systems and led the acquisition of U.S. IT firm GlobalLogic for $9.6 billion, is set to guide Hitachi's growth in digital business, succeeding current President Keiji Kojima.
