Thomas Marks, a Gunaikurnai artist from Ballarat who served a two-year prison sentence, has transformed his life through the Torch arts program. Marks won two NAIDOC awards and featured his artwork on a Melbourne tram and in Coburg. His latest piece will be displayed in Ballarat's Assessment and Referral Court, a therapeutic program aiming to reduce reoffending by offering tailored support to Indigenous participants.
