Gavin Calais, 20, was arrested by the New Orleans Police Department and charged with attempted second-degree murder and discharging a firearm during a violent crime after a shooting near the Caesars Superdome on December 13. The incident occurred after an argument during the LHSAA high school football state championship game. The victim, a 30-year-old man, was shot in the chest and is in stable condition at the hospital. Calais' bond was set at $300,000.
