The British Museum considers returning Parthenon Marbles to Greece, planning to use replicas made by the IDA.

The British Museum may return the Parthenon Marbles to Greece, with replicas created by the Institute for Digital Archaeology (IDA) to fill the gap. The IDA can produce nearly identical replicas using robot sculptors and Pentelic marble, sourced from a guarded quarry near Athens. The process could take nine months and cost around £15 million. The marbles were originally removed from Athens by Lord Elgin over 200 years ago.
