Austrian skier Cornelia Huetter won the first women's World Cup downhill at Birds of Prey, beating Italian Sofia Goggia.

Austrian skier Cornelia Huetter won the first-ever women's World Cup downhill race on the Birds of Prey course, finishing in 1 minute, 32.38 seconds. She beat Italian skier Sofia Goggia by 0.16 seconds and Lara Gut-Behrami of Switzerland. Huetter reached speeds of up to 79 mph on the steep and challenging course, with Lauren Macuga of the US finishing fourth.
