Prince Charles attended a "Crafts at Christmas" event at his Highgrove home, showcasing traditional crafts like painting, millinery, and embroidery made by students from the King’s Foundation's education programs. Charles emphasized the importance of preserving these "timeless skills," which are gradually disappearing. The King’s Foundation educates nearly 15,000 students annually and leads community regeneration projects. Charles was presented with a box of handcrafted baubles and enjoyed carols and roasted chestnuts at the event.
