Jason Eck, former Idaho head coach, is now leading the University of New Mexico's football program.

Jason Eck, who led Idaho to three straight FCS playoff appearances, has been named the new head coach at the University of New Mexico, replacing Bronco Mendenhall who left for Utah State. Eck's hiring comes after Idaho's recent playoff loss and follows his success in turning around the Vandals' program. New Mexico is also dealing with key player transfers, including star quarterback Devon Dampier.
