Indonesia has launched new commercial and residential zones in the Batang Industrial Area, a 4,300-hectare site in Central Java. Developed by PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (KITB), the zones offer investment opportunities in sectors like hotels, education, retail, and premium living. The project, aiming to be a modern, sustainable center, has already attracted 18.7 trillion rupiah ($1.16 billion) in investments over four years, with tenants from China, Chile, Japan, and Indonesia. The initiative seeks to boost local jobs and economic growth.
