India tightens air pollution rules for Delhi, mandating school hybrid learning and banning certain vehicles.

The Indian government has revised its air pollution control plan for Delhi and the National Capital Region, introducing stricter measures during poor air quality. Schools must switch to hybrid learning during severe pollution days, and inter-state buses, except those running on electric, CNG, or BS-VI diesel, are banned from entering Delhi at Stage II. The plan also bans certain diesel vehicles and requires resident welfare associations to provide electric heaters to staff to prevent biomass burning.
