Indian prodigy Gukesh Dommaraju, aged 18, has become the youngest world chess champion, beating China's Ding Liren in a 14-game match in Singapore. With a final score of 7.5 to 6.5, Dommaraju surpassed the previous record held by Garry Kasparov, who won the title at 22. Dommaraju, who became a grandmaster at 12, is the second Indian to win the title, following Viswanathan Anand.
