Dubai expands EV charging network to over 740 points, aiming for 50% electric vehicles by 2050.

Dubai has expanded its EV Green Charger network to over 740 points, supporting the city's goal to have 50% of vehicles be electric by 2050. Since 2014, the network has served 16,828 customers, providing nearly 31,674 megawatt hours of electricity. DEWA has awarded licenses to Tesla and UAEV to boost private sector involvement in sustainable practices.
