A Catholic corporation sues groups failing to pay for a historic Acadian church in Nova Scotia.

The Roman Catholic Episcopal Corporation of Yarmouth has sued Heritage Saint Bernard and Nation Prospère Acadie Inc., two non-profit groups trying to save a historic Acadian church in Nova Scotia. The groups owe $200,000 for the purchase of the former Saint Bernard Church and have fallen behind on mortgage payments. The church, built from 8,000 granite blocks and opened in 1942, is a landmark in southwestern Nova Scotia.
