Romanian energy company Retele Electrice Romania has launched a 23 million lei ($5 million USD) public tender to modernize remote control systems for its medium and low voltage networks. The upgrade aims to improve real-time fault detection, reduce outages, and enhance cybersecurity and automation. The company operates networks covering about 134,000 kilometers in several regions of Romania.
