Osisko Development Corporation has secured the necessary Environmental Management Act permits for its Cariboo Gold Project in Wells, British Columbia, advancing it towards construction. Projected to process about 1.1 million tonnes of gold-bearing ore annually, the mine is now ready for construction and operations. The company aims to start full-scale construction in the second half of 2025, with completion targeted by the end of 2027. The project is expected to create up to 634 jobs during construction and 488 during operations.
