NASCAR threatens to revoke charters from teams pursuing antitrust litigation against it.

Front Row Motorsports and 23XI Racing claim NASCAR is rescinding approval for their charter purchases unless they drop their antitrust lawsuit against the organization. The lawsuit was filed after the teams refused to sign NASCAR's new revenue-sharing agreement. Without the charters, the teams would have to compete as "open" teams, facing significant losses due to a lack of protections and financial benefits. NASCAR plans to proceed in 2025 with 32 chartered teams and eight open spots.
