Mohamed Iidow sentenced to life for raping and causing the death of Natalie Shotter in London park.
Mohamed Iidow, 35, has been sentenced to life in prison with a minimum term of 10 years and eight months for raping and causing the death of Natalie Shotter, a 37-year-old NHS worker, in Southall Park, west London. Shotter died from a heart attack after Iidow repeatedly raped her while she was unconscious. The judge described Iidow's actions as "wicked and utterly reckless." Iidow had a previous conviction for online sexual grooming of young people, which was not disclosed to the jury. Shotter's mother expressed relief at the verdict.
