Greece negotiates to buy Israeli rocket systems and U.S. jets to bolster defense against Turkey.
Greece is negotiating to buy 36 PULS rocket artillery systems from Israel for about 600-700 million euros, part of a larger modernization plan.
This includes talks for a 2-billion-euro anti-aircraft and missile defense system from Israel and up to 40 F-35 jets from the U.S.
The PULS system, with a range up to 300 km, will help protect Greece's borders with Turkey and its Aegean islands.
Greece also approved the purchase of U.S. Switchblade drones.
