Vietnam's coffee exports reach a record $5.43 billion in 2024, driven by sharply higher prices.
Vietnam's coffee exports could exceed $5 billion for the first time in 2024, thanks to a 50% increase in average coffee prices. Despite a 12% drop in export volume, revenue soared by 33% to $5.43 billion due to higher prices. Robusta, making up 97% of Vietnam's output, now commands prices higher than Arabica, a first. The new crop year, beginning in November, is projected to produce around 1.6 million tons of coffee.
