Two Albanian men are sentenced to 45 months for a large-scale cannabis cultivation in Scotland.

Two Albanian men, Glendian Daci, 26, and Aurel Xhoka, 33, have been sentenced to 45 months in prison each for their role in a cannabis cultivation operation valued between £1.2 million and £3.6 million in Greenock, Scotland. The men pleaded guilty to producing the drug between December 2023 and January this year. Their lawyers argued they were attracted to the UK by its promise of better opportunities and were unaware of the full scale of the operation.
