ExxonMobil, the largest US oil and gas company, is exploring entering the power sector by building a natural gas-fueled power plant for data centers. The plant, which is still in early development, would capture over 90% of its carbon dioxide emissions, marking Exxon's first power plant not for its own use. The project aims to be operational within five years.
