Dean of Pittsfield High School arrested for alleged cocaine distribution; faces up to 20 years in prison.
Lavante Wiggins, the dean of students at Pittsfield High School, has been arrested on federal charges of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute cocaine. He and co-defendant Theodore Warren, 42, face up to 20 years in prison. Wiggins was placed on administrative leave by the school district, which promised to maintain a safe environment for students and staff.
