Canadian postal workers' strike continues after union settlement over layoff notices.

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) reached a settlement with Canada Post over issuing temporary layoff notices to about 328 striking workers. The union accused Canada Post of using intimidation tactics and violating labor laws, but the company denied these claims. As part of the settlement, Canada Post must inform workers they are not on a temporary layoff. The four-week strike by over 55,000 postal workers continues, with wages and working conditions at the center of negotiations.
