A 70-year-old Long Island woman, Gladys Serrano, faces up to four years in jail for allegedly practicing unlicensed dentistry from her apartment. Authorities found dental tools and extracted teeth in her kitchen, and she charged a patient nearly $2,000 for dental work. Serrano pleaded not guilty and is under electronic monitoring.
