Sri Lanka begins public consultations on electricity tariffs for early 2025, with no proposed changes.

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) is holding public consultations on electricity tariffs for the first half of 2025, starting December 17. The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) proposes no changes to current tariffs. Public comments and suggestions can be submitted until January 8 via email, WhatsApp, Facebook, or in person at the PUCSL office. The final decision will be announced on January 17, 2025, with changes expected to take effect in the third week of January.
