Sri Lanka approves plan to generate income from underused state bungalows and presidential homes.

The Sri Lankan cabinet has approved a plan to better utilize state-owned bungalows and presidential residences to generate more income. The proposal, presented by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, aims to maximize the economic potential of over 50 underused properties in Colombo and other areas. A committee will be formed to develop strategies for repurposing these assets, with the goal of making them more productive and cost-effective.
