A man is charged with arson for burning down a historic church in Loon Lake, Saskatchewan.

A 25-year-old man from Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation has been charged with arson for burning down St. George Anglican Church in Loon Lake, Saskatchewan, on September 28. The church, built in 1939, was completely destroyed. The suspect, Shandon Chief, also faces a charge for breaching a conditional sentence order. The RCMP is seeking public help for any information or footage related to the incident.
