Chicago bomb squad safely removed a suspicious object found in Humboldt Park; area now secure.

The Chicago Police Department's bomb squad responded to a suspicious object found in a bag near a restaurant in Humboldt Park on Tuesday afternoon. Traffic was halted in the area, but the object was safely removed, and the area was declared secure by around 5:25 p.m. No injuries were reported, and the roads have since reopened. The nature of the object remains under investigation.
