Average asking rents in Canada fell 1.6% year-over-year in November to $2,139, marking a 15-month low, according to Rentals.ca and Urbanation.
Despite the decline, rents remain 6.7% higher than two years ago.
The drop is mainly in the secondary market for condos and houses in British Columbia and Ontario, with Ontario seeing a 6.4% decrease and B.C.
