Amnesty International accuses Congolese army officers of crimes against humanity in Goma protest killings.

The rights group is calling for an independent inquiry into the roles of these officials and the UN peacekeeping mission, MONUSCO, in the incident. The northeastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo has long been affected by militia violence.
