A 40-year-old man was arrested and charged with murder in the death of Robert Nattie Albert, found shot at Muaūpoko Park.

Robert Nattie Albert, 56, was found dead from a gunshot wound at Muaūpoko Park in Lake Horowhenua on October 17. A 23-year-old man was previously charged with murder, and now a 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged with the same crime, along with unlawful possession of a pistol. The arrest followed searches in Levin, where the suspect and a modified firearm were found. The 40-year-old is set to appear in court on Wednesday.
