Teenager Elianne Andam was stabbed to death in a dispute over a teddy bear, her killer claims autism as a defense.
A 15-year-old girl, Elianne Andam, was fatally stabbed by 18-year-old Hassan Sentamu in Croydon, UK, over a dispute involving a returned teddy bear. Sentamu admitted to manslaughter but denies murder, claiming "loss of control" due to his autism. The prosecution argues that Sentamu's condition does not excuse the murder. CCTV footage captured the stabbing and Sentamu's subsequent disposal of the knife. The trial is ongoing at the Old Bailey.
