RWE and TotalEnergies select Dutch port for 795MW wind project, OranjeWind, set to power over a million homes.

RWE and TotalEnergies have chosen the port of Eemshaven in the Netherlands for their joint offshore wind project, OranjeWind, which will have a 795MW capacity. Construction starts in early 2026, with turbine installation beginning in 2027. The project aims to supply electricity for over one million Dutch households. Vestas will provide turbines, Sif will manufacture components, and Jan De Nul Group will handle transportation and installation.
