Prudential considers selling a stake in Eastspring Investments to diversify and boost returns.

Prudential is considering selling a minority stake in its asset manager Eastspring Investments to potentially boost its business and diversify into private credit and dollar-denominated assets. A 30% stake sale could be valued at around $3 billion and help increase Prudential's total return yield to 10%. Though in early stages, Prudential is exploring options like forming partnerships and reinvesting proceeds in markets like China and Southeast Asia.
