A Nigerian court sentenced Superintendent Solomon Ogodo of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps to seven years in prison for defrauding job seekers with fake employment offers, involving ₦12.2 million.
Additionally, Mr. Ekoh Justin Okezie was arraigned on charges of forgery and fraud, accused of receiving multiple salary payments by falsely claiming to be a staff member of the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture.
Okezie pleaded not guilty and was granted bail.
