Meyn America, a poultry processing equipment manufacturer, is relocating its operations from Georgia to Oconee County, South Carolina, investing $50 million. The move to a new 200,000-square-foot facility will create 172 new jobs, with operations set to begin in spring 2027. The South Carolina Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits and a $1.5 million grant for the project.
