Jack Danaher Molloy, a 24-year-old from Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, has been arrested for allegedly trying to join Hezbollah in Lebanon and lying to FBI agents about his actions. Molloy, a former U.S. soldier, traveled to Lebanon in August and then to Syria in October. He faces charges for making false statements about his plans, which could lead to up to eight years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
