Former Tyrone footballer Jody Gormley, 53, died after a brief battle with liver cancer.

Former Tyrone footballer Jody Gormley, 53, passed away after a brief battle with liver cancer. Gormley, who managed Trillick to the Tyrone Senior Football championship final, also led Abbey CBS Newry to the Hogan Cup title and managed Antrim to a Tommy Murphy Cup victory. As a player, he won two Ulster titles with Tyrone in 1995 and 1996. Tributes have poured in from across the Gaelic Athletic Association community.
