First phase of the Ghost Town Trail's final section completed, advancing East Coast's largest rail-trail loop.

The first phase of the final section of the Ghost Town Trail, aiming to become the East Coast's largest continuous rail-trail loop, was completed with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The half-mile stretch and box culvert cost $900,000 and was finished ahead of schedule. The project, part of a $4.2 million expansion funded by grants, aims to complete the trail by 2025, connecting it to Ebensburg and enhancing local outdoor recreation.
