NSW Forestry Corporation adds 96 firefighters, marking five years since Black Summer bushfires.

The Forestry Corporation of New South Wales has added 96 new firefighters to prepare for the upcoming fire season, marking the fifth anniversary of the Black Summer bushfires. The recruits were trained in Bombala and will work with other state fire agencies to protect communities, the environment, and timber assets. The Forestry Corporation is equipped with a fleet of firefighting vehicles, heavy machinery, and over 100 drones.
