Nigeria, Chad, and Niger have launched joint military operations against the Lakurawa terrorist group, which has been active in northern Nigeria and neighboring countries since a November 4 attack. The group, linked to Sahel terrorists, has set up camps in multiple areas and has around 1,800 members. The countries are deploying additional forces to counter the group's expansion and exploit of porous borders.
