New Zealand's Health Minister Dr. Shane Reti launched the "Nurture the Future Within" campaign to prevent Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), the leading cause of preventable intellectual and neurodevelopmental disorders in the country. The campaign promotes alcohol-free pregnancies and includes eight new initiatives totaling $6.85 million in funding. It aims to increase awareness, prevention, and support for those affected by FASD.
