Malaysia and Singapore have partnered to launch the first cross-border trade of renewable energy in the ASEAN region. Starting this month, Malaysia will export 50 megawatts of green electricity to Singapore through a deal between Tenaga Nasional Berhad and Sembcorp Power. This initiative supports regional energy integration and sustainable practices, aligning with both countries' goals to reduce fossil fuel dependence.
